Only the name has changed. Our team, contracts, and legal entity stay the same.
Caliber became Veltrus
We started as Caliber Engineering Solutions, serving an electric utility in Chicago, run by people who had worked inside it. We learned that the way a program is run decides how it turns out, so we turned our way of running programs into a system. That system grew into Veltrus.
What changed, and what did not
What changed
The name, the logo, the web address, and the email domain. Over the coming weeks, the name on invoices and certificates. Documents that still say Caliber Engineering Solutions remain valid.
What did not change
Legal entity, ownership, tax identification, contracts, certifications, insurance, supplier records, points of contact, scope of services.
If you hold a contract with us
It stands as written. Nothing to sign, nothing to renegotiate.
If we are in your supplier records
Update the company name to Veltrus Solutions, LLC, formerly Caliber Engineering Solutions, LLC. The legal entity and tax identification stay the same. The supplier packet has both names.
If you have old links or emails
They keep working. Old addresses redirect, and old email addresses forward.
Why the name
The company grew into two arms. Veltrus Solutions delivers programs for electric utilities, and Veltrus Technologies builds the platform they run on. Veltrus means velocity and trust.
